Ahead of the International Women’s Day, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state, wowed everyone as he showed off his tailoring skills in a tailoring shop.
The amiable Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose was in a happy mood as he was busy sewing his Ankara uniform ahead of the celebration which is set to hold on Wednesday, March 8. He was also reported to have declared a public holiday, so women can celebrate in style.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reported that the holiday will also enable men wishing to identify with the womenfolk, the opportunity to do so without hindrance. Governor Fayose, stated that the state government would sponsor the event to enable the women showcase their potentials and had a sense of belonging in the society.
It was added that, no fewer than 45,000 women across various professions, trades as well as those in the public service have already enlisted to be part of the women’s special event. The women have also paid N500 each to buy a branded and subsidized Ankara, which has a market value of N3,500.
