Google Releases The Most Googled Presidential Candidate

As Nigerians step out to choose their President today, The Number 1 Search engine in the world, Google, decided to celebrate Nigeria with the special Doodle Google.

The Special Doodle Google has been up on Google’s homepage since 12:00am today for the Nigeria Elections.

Google also went further to release a graph that shows how much Nigerians have been searching for the 2 most talked-about presidential candidates, (Buhari and Goodluck Jonathan).  This graph shows the level of interest Nigerians have in Buhari and GEJ

Based on the searches conducted on from the 1st of January to the 27th of March, 2015, The graph showed that BUHARI has been searched/googled far more than his presidential contesting counterpart Goodluck Jonathan.

Jonathan was searched mostly for things people wanted to know about his wife Patience Jonathan, his campaign, Olusegun Obasanjo and general news about him. For Buhari, people wanted to know more about his certificate, who Buhari really is, his running mate (OSINBAJO) and well as campaigns all over the federal republic.
